The Strategy and RDI Project Planning course proposed jointly by ACUP, AGAUR, the UAB and the UOC is a programme based on the key procedural elements of applying for competitive RDI projects in an international environment, with an innovative teaching approach.

The European Union's principal research and innovation (RDI) funding programme, Horizon 2020, offers great opportunities for project development. Within this framework, there has been considerable interest from different scientific and social groups in attaining a wider overall knowledge base that will allow them to obtain funding in these calls.

In order to participate, they need to show leadership skills and to address an innovative subject that offers solutions to the challenges faced by society. In addition, they must also draw together a critical mass of resources and knowledge from different fields, technologies, scientific disciplines and research infrastructures to address the challenges.

The methodology of the course wil be based on "learning by doing", with real proposal cases, and complemented by theory classes and an online follow up. The course will be taught in English.

The course offers an optional two-day study visit to Brussels equivalent to 1 additional credit, with an extra cost of 26 euros, which must be formalised when registering for the course.

The study visit to Brussels will have an additional average cost of 250 - 300 euros (depending on the number of attendees) plus flight. Dates: February 2018.
