The programme's main aim is to prepare students to work in R&I in industry, research centres or universities. It is designed for postgraduate students who have studied on a technical or scientific programme, such as computer engineering, mathematics, telecommunications engineering, industrial engineering, statistics, physics, etc.
The programme is run jointly with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), who coordinate it and handle the enrolment process.
You can find more information on the programme from this web page, which will be updated to include the professors and coordinators.
Students have to study a total of 60 ECTS credits, which are organized as follows: 17 credits for mandatory courses, 25 credits for optional courses, and 18 credits for the final master's degree project. (See the programme of study).
The programme is designed to be completed in one year by full-time students or two years by part-time students. The professors on this programme are researchers currently working in their respective areas, which increases the possibility of students being able to develop a career in research in computational and mathematical engineering.
