The UOC's specialization in Clinical TB Management is designed to train professionals who will be able to face new challenges in the management of clinical cases of tuberculosis from an innovative and up-to-date perspective.

Through this specialization, the student will be updated on recent discoveries surrounding the natural history of tuberculosis, including new tools for diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
The specialization in Clinical TB Management provides students with enough scientific and clinical knowledge to implement the best clinical solutions in low-, middle- and high-income countries.
Students can understand the natural evolution of Mycobacterium tuberculosis; the relation between immunological, radiological and histopathological aspects; and the best methodology to be implemented in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, even with patients suffering from HIV and multidrug resistance.
Assessment of the specialization in Clinical TB Management will be a continuous virtual process based on resolution of specific questions and discussion of the best approach for clinical case management.
