Objectives

The main objective of this specialization is to provide the theoretical and practical background necessary for proper clinical management of tuberculosis through knowledge of the histopathological basis of evolution.

Competencies

The student will acquire a theoretical and practical background, which will provide them with the skills necessary for the proper clinical management of tuberculosis, through knowledge of epidemiology, diagnosis, clinical features and management.

The students will acquire the following skills:

  • Ability to establish a correlation between pathology and radiology.
  • Ability to issue a correct diagnosis using microbiological, immunological, pathological and radiological criteria.
  • Ability to handle patients with multiresistance.
