UOC and Dr Antoni Esteve Foundation grants for doctoral courses

In partnership with the Dr Antoni Esteve Foundation, the UOC has decided to give 30 grants for the Doctoral School's research course Writing for Biomedical Sciences, the aim being to improve researchers' and medical personnel's training and further progress in scientific debate and research.

In the case of any doubts, the information in the rules for the call, published on the UOC's e-tablón noticeboard, takes precedence.


Writing for Biomedical Sciences (UOC-FDAE) research course.

The UOC's programmes are taught online. Teaching activity takes place on the Virtual Campus, an online environment that you can take with you wherever you go and where you will find the classrooms, your personal area, and the study and communication tools you will need.

The course will be given in English.

The grant has a duration of one semester (the course's duration).

The grant consists of a 21.7% rebate on the total enrolment fee.
 

Those interested in receiving one of these grants must:

  1. Complete the UOC grant application form.
  2. Send the following documentation, in PDF format, to the email address phd_school@uoc.edu:
  • ·A photocopy of your identity document.
  • ·An official Spanish or foreign university qualification in the field of health sciences, or in a branch of knowledge related to the health sciences (medicine, pharmacy, biology, biomedical sciences, biomedicine, biotechnology, nursing, physiotherapy, veterinary medicine or other biomedical bachelor's degree).
  • ·Accreditation that your level of English is at least C1.
  • ·A list of your scholarly publications.
  • ·Proof that you are a former student of the UOC or the Dr Antoni Esteve Foundation.
 

25 February 2020 at 11:59 pm Spanish time: deadline for applying for the grant.

26 February 2020 at 11:59 pm Spanish time: deadline for submitting the required documentation.

25 February 2020: publication of the provisional list of selected candidates on the UOC's E-Services Portal noticeboard.

5 days: period for appeals.

5 March  2020: publication of the final list of selected candidates on the UOC's E-Services Portal noticeboard.

7 to 10 March 2020 at 11:59 pm: period for completing enrolment.

11 March 2020: teaching starts.
