PhD in Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Architect at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. PhD in Molecular Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Postdoctoral training was conducted at McMaster University , Canada. She is a scientific researcher in the field of biomedicine, focused on cancer stem cells and the development of new drugs, leading the group of leukemia stem cells to the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute in Barcelona. He has taught both nationally and internationally. She is an entrepreneur in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical area, having received business training at ESADE (PMD).
Bachelor's degree in Musicology, a degree in Music and English Teaching and a PhD in Music Teaching. After her studies she went on to specialize in the Kodály method of music education at the Liszt Academy (Budapest) and earned a her master's degree in Applied Research in Feminism, Gender and Citizenship studies from the University Jaume I (Castellón). She currently combines her teaching and research work at the University of Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and Université Paris 8.
