Dr Ester Bernadó

Ester Bernadó holds a PhD in Computer Engineering, an advanced-level engineering degree in Electronics and an engineering degree in Telecommunications from Ramon Llull University (URL). She works as a professional ontological coach at the Barcelona Coaching Centre (CEC) and for ESADE's postgraduate course Jo, Directiva. She is an expert in machine learning, data science and artificial intelligence. She carried out a postdoctoral stay at Bell Labs in the United States, where she conducted research on the complexity of data analytics issues. She was also an Engineering professor from 1995 to 2012 at the URL's La Salle campus. Bernadó has held an array of management positions in the university sphere, she was programme director of the Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Design and Production at Pompeu Fabra University's TecnoCampus andas well as the school's international relations coordinator. She is currently the director of the TecnoCampus' School of Engineering and Technology (ESUPT), where she is also an associate professor. She is a visiting professor at Ghent University and Politecnico di Milano, and a course instructor and tutor for the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya's (UOC) Doctoral School. She participates in research projects focused on design thinking, co-creation processes with users and university entrepreneurship. Finally, she is a member of the National HEInnovate Expert Facilitators Group at the European Comission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture.

Dr Carlos Cámara

Carlos Cámara holds a master's degree in Architecture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). and a PhD in the Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). His multidisciplinary training has led him to structure his different research interests are structured around the nexus of commodification and cities, technology and society within the framework of informationalism and free culture, a subject he pursues both academically and as an activist side. He is a course instructor on the Master's Degree in Cities and Urbanism and a researcher with the UOC's Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory (TURBA Lab). He was also a lecturer at Universidad San Jorge from 2009 to 2019, adjunct professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in 2009, and a guest lecturer at Limerick University in 2013. In 2016 he founded the action- research group Mapeado Colaborativo.

Dr Antonio Cambra

Antonio Cambra Gonzàlez holds a master's degree and a PhD in the Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), as well as a bachelor's degree in Humanities, also from the UOC, and an engineering degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). He teaches computer science at CIPFP Mislata, an integrated public vocational training centre in Valencia, work which he combines with a range of tutoring and university teaching activities at the UOC. His research addresses the interactions between culture, technology, communication and consumption, subjects on which he has published a number of articles in international journals. He also collaborates with the UOC's PROTCIS-GRECS research group.

Dr Judit Creixans

Judit Creixans holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (UVic-UCC), a master's degree in Taxation from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and an interuniversity PhD in Economics, Law and Business (UVic-UCC, UdG), with a specialization in Business Analysis. She currently works as an accounting and taxation advisor, specializing in SME and large corporation taxation. She also teaches at several Catalan universities and conducts research into a number of subjects, including business management and analysis, corporate social responsibility, and business communication and transparency, especially in the social healthcare and hospital sectors.

Dr Luis Franco Serrano

Luis Franco Serrano holds a bachelor's degree in Biomedicine, a master's degree in Teaching Secondary School Education and a PhD in Immunology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He has taught a number of health-related training cycles, worked as a training coordinator in employment centres, supervised final master's degree projects for the Joint University Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (UOC, UB) and served as a tutor for the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya's (UOC) Doctoral School. He also conducts bioinformatics research at the Institut de Biotecnologia i Biomedicina (IBB). His main research lines involve multifunctional proteins and their usefulness in developing new vaccines and drugs, as well as the creation of identification and prediction tools that help to better understand this type of protein. He has also worked as a researcher at the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM) and as a clinical microbiologist specializing in infectious diseases at the Maresme Health Consortium. He is a founding member and chairman of the international cooperation NGO known as Bhai Nepal, where he also coordinates and serves as a public health expert for the relief efforts carried out by the organization with child orphans in Kathmandu.

Dr Sandra Soler

Sandra Soler Campo holds a bachelor's degree in Musicology, a degree in Music and English Teaching and a PhD in Music Teaching. After her studies she went on to specialize in the Kodály method of music education at the Liszt Academy (Budapest) and earned a her master's degree in Applied Research in Feminism, Gender and Citizenship studies from the University Jaume I (Castellón). She currently combines her teaching and research work at the University of Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and Université Paris 8.
