Raquel Xalabarder

Master of Laws from Columbia University Law School, New York (1993). Doctor of Law, cum laude unanimously, from the University of Barcelona (UB) (1997). Visiting Scholar at Columbia University Law School, New York (2000-2001) and Honorarvertrag at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Munich (2008 and 2011). President of the Literary and Artistic Association for the Defense of Copyright (ALADDA), a Spanish group of the International Literary and Artistic Association (ALAI), and member of the European Copyright Society. Prof. Xalabarder has taught and published extensively on intellectual property, internet law, and international private law.

Ana S. Cardenal

Associated Professor of Political Science at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Associated Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where she teaches a course in Comparative Politics. She has been visitor researcher at the Centre of Latin American Studies of the Stanford University and Fulbright Fellow in the Politics Department at the New York University (NYU).

Jacint Jordana

Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at the Pompeu Fabra University. He holds a PhD in Economy (Universitat de Barcelona, 1992). His main research area is analysing public policies, specially regulatory policies and regulatory governance. He has been visiting professor at the Copenhague Business School, Australia National University, Wissenschafts Zentrum of Berlín, California University (San Diego) and Universität Konstanz.

Robert Kissack

At IBEI since 2008, his research profile is at the intersection of the foreign policy of the European Union (EU) and international organisation. More specifically, it has centred on the EU as an actor in the multilateral system and my book Pursuing Effective Multilateralism¿ (Palgrave 2010) was one of the first in this field. Specialised in examining the capacity of the EU to operate in many different multilateral organisations, including the ILO, FAO, UN General Assembly and Security Council, the WTO and the IMF. He has worked in two research projects in this area, EU-Perform (funded by the European Science Foundation) and EUN-NET, a brand new Jean Monnet Network (2017-2019).
