This joint UOC-FAO online specialization offers complete knowledge and guidance for assessing the impact of development programmes on food security. Specifically, students will review the assessment of the impact of food security within the context of development programmes, methods and approaches for doing this, and also for interpreting and reporting the results of this assessment.

This specialization provides the latest information on impact assessment from numerous sources and presents it within the context of the development programmes that address food insecurity.

The attention is focused on large-scale programmes, but the methods and approaches are also applicable to food security projects with a more modest scope. Students will be required to regularly perform assignments and activities and will be supported by experienced faculty.
